Upgrade Your Morning with Mushroom Coffee
What’s one thing I love just as much as skincare?... My morning coffee!
Where are all my coffee lovers at? If you’re a big fan, then you’re in for a treat because I am unveiling ALL of my morning coffee must-haves.
If you follow me, then you know I’ve been loving my mushroom coffee. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about what it is, how I make it, and what all the benefits are. So, I’ll answer all of that for you right here, right now!
First thing’s first, what the heck is mushroom coffee?
Let’s break it down in simple terms. Mushroom coffee is a coffee brew made with medicinal mushrooms and coffee beans. There are a few popular types of mushrooms used and those include Reishi, Chaga, Lion’s Mane, and Cordyceps.
Now, what are the benefits?
Mushroom coffee doesn’t exactly sound appetizing, does it? But you’d be surprised. It tastes virtually the same as regular coffee AND the benefits are amazing.
Just to name a few…
-
Supports your immune system (With the major antioxidant properties found in mushrooms).
-
Get BETTER sleep. Yes, I said sleep. Coffee is known for keeping us awake with all the caffeine, BUT mushroom coffee actually has less caffeine in it. Meaning, no more coffee jitters! (If you’re sensitive to caffeine, I highly recommend making the switch to mushroom coffee.)
-
Lowers stress levels (Studies show that mushroom coffee can help level out the amount of cortisol in your blood and saliva, therefore helping you manage your stress).
Okay, now let’s get to the juicy part.
What do I use to make my morning mushroom coffee?
I opt for the Four Sigmatic mushroom coffee in Balance, but they have so many other options you can check out like Defend and Think. Check them all out here. I choose Four Sigmatic because it’s crash-free, organic, PLUS it tastes great.
If you’re on the go or at the office, I recommend grabbing this Mushroom Cacao Mix or this Lion’s Mane and Chaga mix! (I love to mix these together for a guilt-free mocha to help the brain and reduce stress.)
I’ll also use organic cinnamon and organic coconut oil for extra health benefits like anti-inflammation, youthful skin, increased energy, and immune system support.
Tip: If you’re feeling like a little weekend treat, add in a little vanilla powder and homemade milk to your coffee. (It’s my guilty pleasure, it may not be the healthiest option but you gotta live a little bit… okay?)

If you haven’t already jumped on the mushroom coffee bandwagon, now’s the time! A delicious coffee to start your day with ALL the flavor and NO guilt, I’m obsessed with it.
P.S. If you’ve been enjoying either of my my anti-inflammatory smoothies, you will LOVE adding mushroom coffee to your daily routine too. Making your smoothie & coffee at home saves so much money, meaning you’ve got more $$$ to shop. ;) Invest the extra cash into your business or into your savings account! Win-win.
Let me know if you give mushroom coffee a go and how you like it.
xoxo
