4 Tips To Take Action With Your Esthetician Business
It’s time… time to stop planning and to start DOING. If you’ve been feeling stagnant in your etsy business lately or you’re scared to take things to the next level, this blog post is for you.
First of all, I want you to know that you’re not alone. You’re not alone in feeling scared and confused about what next steps to take… BUT, the difference between those who succeed and those who don’t is whether you can OVERCOME the fear and take action. And I want you to succeed!
I’m going to break down 4 key steps that personally helped me get from an idea to acting on it and helped me scale my own business. These steps were so helpful for me and I know they’ll be helpful for you too.
Step #1: Time for some self-reflection.
Before you take ANY action, you need to really dig deep and analyze what it is you want. In order for any action plan to be successful, you need to get crystal clear on a few things:
What’s the end goal for you? Is it to finally start growing a team? Is it to go solo? Whatever your goal is - get crystal clear on it and THEN you can properly plan out a roadmap to get there.
Step #2: Put pen to paper!
It’s time to physically write out and visualize your plan. While it’s great to mentally think about action steps you need to take, there’s nothing like putting an actual pen to paper.
Now that you’re clear on what you want and the end goal, map out all of the action steps you need to take. These will be both small steps and big, I recommend starting out with simple small steps you can take today that’ll move you closer to your goal, and then start working your way up to those bigger action steps.
Step #3: One step at a time.
Take this ONE step at a time, put one foot in front of the other. Instead of looking at the final product, look at the small steps you need to take that lead up to that final product.
If you pressure yourself and think that you have to make MASSIVE changes overnight, you’ll feel way more stressed out and overwhelmed, making your goals farther out of reach. Give yourself some grace! You’ve got this.
Step #4: PULL THE TRIGGER.
This is undoubtedly the hardest step, I will admit that. But at some point, you NEED to take a leap of faith. There is never going to be a safe or comfortable time to finally take action in your business.
There’s no secret, there’s no magic pill, it comes down to taking the action. Oftentimes when we get in our heads and DON’T take the action, it can be more overwhelming than the action itself. Each time you put yourself in an uncomfortable situation and lean into the fear, you will become more strong & confident!
It’s time to take that idea and start acting on it.
