5 Spring Skincare Tips for Glowing Skin
Who’s ready to wave goodbye to the cold and snowy winter months and say hello to the warm sunny days ahead? Don’t get me wrong, I love the winter and the coziness of layering and curling up by the fireplace. But… after a month or two, I’m over it. Anyone else?
As the seasons change, so should your skincare routine! Which is why I want to share with you my top 5 tips for transitioning your skincare routine into the spring and getting your GLOW on.
Tip #1: It all starts with some exfoliation!
It’s time to shed away the dead skin that built up over those winter months. This will really help you achieve that fresh glow while improving your overall skin health. I recommend the COSMEDIX Purity Clean Exfoliating Cleanser, this is amazing at lifting away dirt, oil, and pore-clogging impurities without stripping your skin of essential moisture.
Tip #2: Opt for a good moisturizer with SPF!
Keep your skin protected from the sun with a face moisturizer that has SPF. This will help keep your skin healthy, prevent wrinkles and fine lines while reducing the chances of discoloration. I love to use the COSMEDIX Peptide Rich Defense Moisturizer, this has SPF 50, it’s cruelty-free, and helps deeply nourish your skin. Simply apply daily to your face, neck, décolletage, and hands! Easy as that.
Tip #3: Keep cool with The Glow Skincare™ Cold Roller.
The Glow Cold Roller is my staple for ALL seasons of the year, but especially when the weather heats up. Imagine this – waking up, coffee in hand, lounging out under the sun, cold rolling. Sounds like the perfect morning to me. Glow tip: Store your cold roller in the fridge or freezer for at least 20 minutes before use. Feels amazing! And If you’re on the go during spring break, stock up on the Glow Skincare™ Mini Cold Roller.
Tip #4: Lift + Sculpt with our Glass Facial Cups.
These glamorous limited edition Face Cupping Kits are a spring MUST-HAVE. They’re perfect for traveling and have so many benefits for your skin (lymphatic drainage, helps release tension, and promotes blood circulation, just to name a few). I like to use these 2-3 times per week. You can read more about our Glass Facial Cups here.
Tip #5: Don’t forget to eat your fruit!
Products and tools are great, but health and having a nutritious diet are equally important for skin health. One of my favorite ways to make sure I’m getting my daily vitamins and nutrients is through fruit. Fruit is an incredible source of antioxidants and vitamins, and they’ve been proven to help prevent acne, blemishes, and fine lines to keep your skin as radiant as possible.
Here’s a list of the top 8 recommended fruits for glowing skin:
- Oranges
- Apples
- Watermelons
- Lemons
- Mangoes
- Strawberry
- Cucumbers
- Pomegranate
