Festival Season Must-Haves - Esthetician Edition

Festival Season Must-Haves - Esthetician Edition

Okay, everyone, festival season is here! It is the kick-off to outdoor summer shows, concerts, festivals, beach days, traveling, and fun! So, what does that have to do with you? Well, many of you are attending or have clients attending so we thought it would be helpful to get you a short list of things to have on hand for you, them, or both!

Being an expert at festivals (self-proclaimed), means I know how to pack, how to get ready, how to thrive during, and how to decompress afterward. All very important processes.

This list is great for you to make sure you or your clients have what is needed to live your fullest festival experience.

  1. Cold Rollers. I am not kidding when I tell you that I pack a couple of each size of cold rollers so that my friends and I are ready to go. These babies are perfect for before, after, and during the festival. Cooling you down, helping your sunburn to heal (whoopsie), and aiding in kicking off that lymphatic drainage we all could use a little more of.
  2. Sheet masks. Okay, this is more of a before-and-after step, but hey, I wouldn’t be mad about seeing someone at a show walking around with a sheet mask on. These are my favorite and come in a pack of 5. Pro tip: throw them in the fridge so they are extra chilly before use. My friends love to use them lying by the pool.
  3. S.P.F. I like to pack a few different options and extra for my friends who many forget to reapply. I always like to have a spray-on as well as my favorite tinted S.P.F. which you can check out here. Just remember, be sure to wash your S.P.F. off before you call it a night. I have been hearing of way too many people wearing sunscreen around the clock and it’s just not good for your skin.
  4. Clear bag. Okay, these are a must-have for some venues that are cracking down on their safety rules. I love mine though because I can see where everything is and I know I will be able to get into any venue since it’s “approved”. They also make backpacks like these as well as a fanny pack option that Hailey likes. Don’t like that it’s clear? Get a cute pashmina that you can use to line the inside of the bag and then use it throughout your experience in a million different ways.
  5. Sunglasses. I LOVE a fun sunglass and on Amazon, there are 1048593402308 options to shop for. Here are some of my favorites. I usually switch them out for different outfits and different times of day depending on how sunny it is outside.

I hope this list is helpful for you! If you’re not a festival type, no worries, these things are great to have in stock in your space so that your clients can grab an extra sheet mask or mini cold roller when they are leaving their appointment and off to the show.
