How to Easily Wash your Fan Brushes

How to Easily Wash your Fan Brushes

If you are doing facials on the reg, you are most likely using fan brushes, and hopefully our Acrylic Fan Brush and our Champagne Fan Brush. But, these simple washing instructions work for all fan brushes. Here is how we recommend that you wash your Kasey Boone Skincare™ brushes. It's as easy as 1,2,3.

  1. Soap and water. This is pretty straight forward but what you are going to do is wash your fan brushed with soap and water in the sink. You want to make sure that you are gently removing all the product from the bristles. This is very important to help ensure that the brush is clean.
  2. Soak in disinfectant. Again, super simple but there is a right way and a not so right way to do this. You want to make sure that the brushes are soaking, but not for too long as this can damage the brush. You can use disinfectant and or sterilizer. Dealers choice.
  3. Dry. Okay, it doesn't get more direct than this. After the brushes are removed from the disinfectant, give them a quick rinse under running water, then you'll lay them flat to dry on a towel or drying rack. You will want to make sure the brush dries completely before using it in your next treatment. This will help to make the brush last as long as possible.

Remember, your fan brushes are designed to last, but not forever. These steps will help to make your brushes last as long as possible, but they are not indestructible. Like most tools, you will have to replace them after extended use or if they are not cared for properly. Luckily to save you, we offer our brushes on wholesale as well as Autoship!

Hopefully these steps make your life just a bit easier and cleaner!
