Spring is Here and it's Time to Clean + Organize

Spring is here, the birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming and the manic spring cleaning is commencing. If you’ve been following along @kaseybooneskincare on Instagram you know that we have been in a HUGE season of change. We are in a new space which means cleaning, organizing and cleaning again, oh, and then more organizing. It’s been A LOT. But with the correct tools, and accessories it has made our transition into our new space MUCH easier. Whether you are moving or just cleaning, let me break it down for you with some easy suggestions and a few things to have on hand.

  1. First, you are going to want to purge. That means getting rid of as much as you can. We like to separate into 3 sections. Sell, donate, and trash. We love to use these storage containers to separate everything and later use them for storage. Oh and don’t forget to label! Even if you think you know what’s in there, you don’t lol. We use this label maker so that everything looks nice and cohesive. Oh and don’t forget to get extra label tape.
  2. Okay, now that that’s done, you have the space to clean! That means wiping everything down, dusting, and maybe giving your space a refresh with fresh decor, candles, flowers, something to make your space look and feel new.
  3. Organizing time! Since you know you are keeping everything in your space and it’s clean, you can organize. I know you have a million cords because we all have a million cords. These cord ties are a lifesaver! We use so many of them and they really help to keep everything in order. Once that is done you can store them in one of these pouches. Also, when you find out what the cords are for, don’t forget to label them so that next time you’re looking for a cord for ____ you know which one it is.
  4. Next are these cord organizers for your devices that stay plugged in. These are great to use on the back of your machines and you may even have a few left over to use in your kitchen! You can also use these for your machines, office devices, and any other place you have a lot of bulky cords running.

Okay, I think you’re probably done hearing about cords. So, these are just a few of the organizing tips we have! If this is helpful and you guys want more content like this, let us know! Organizing is like a guilty pleasure and totally addicting when you are in the right headspace and have the right tools to make your journey to orderliness so much easier!
